Accessibility in Afrikaans television industry

This dataset consists of processed data collected from a variety of auditory and non-auditory participants through four surveys and interviews. It includes information about their general preferences regarding subtitles and captions for television, soap operas, and daily dramas in South Africa, as well as additional data collected from participants with hearing loss while watching selected episodes of an Afrikaans daily drama on a paid broadcaster with captions. The data is categorised according to various themes.
