Haplotype-phased chromosome-level genome assembly of a western Pacific abalone, Haliotis gigantea

We constructed a haplotype-phased genome assembly of a western Pacific abalone, Haliotis gigantea, using PacBio HiFi and Hi-C data. The haplotype-phased genome assembly was used to investigate structural variation in the genome, including genome duplication, by comparing homologous chromosomes.
