This dataset comprises data from a five-station seismic network deployed at Deception Island volcano, Antarctica, from December 2014 to February 2015. This network is deployed during summer surveys, coinciding with the operations of the Spanish Base Gabriel de Castilla. More details can be found in Carmona et al (2014). The purpose of the network is to assess the seismo-volcanic activity at Deception Island volcano, continue with the long-term data series of seismo-volcanic activity that we maintain since 1994, investigate the internal processes that take place at Deception Island, and colaborate in the management of the volcanic alert system.The selected period contains earthquake data from a seismic swarm that occurred in the Bransfield Strait, near Livingston Island (Almendros et al. 2015, 2018). The swarm started in September 2014, therefore the dataset contains just a part of the tail of the Livingston seismic series, from December 2014 to February 2015. Additionally, the dataset includes volcano-tectonic earthquakes that occurred at Deception Island, most likely as a response to the perturbations induced by the Livingston seismic swarm. (2018).DATA FORMATRaw seismograms in miniseed format (e.g. http://ds.iris.edu/ds/nodes/dmc/data/formats)DIRECTORY STRUCTUREData are single-channel, one-day-long seismograms.
