POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSES AT AN ARCHAIC (SLP1717) AND A NAVAJO (SLP1719) SITE IN SOUTHWESTERN COLORADO

Pollen and macrofloral analyses were conducted in conjunction with archaeological mitigation at two sites on the Southern Ute Reservation (5LP1717 and 5LP1719). Located in the La Plata River drainage, these sites represent separate Archaic and Navajo occupations in the northern San Juan Basin. The recovery of pollen and macrofloral remains at these sites was directed toward both paleoenvironmental and subsistence reconstruction.针对南犹特保留地（Southern Ute Reservation）内的两处遗址（编号5LP1717与5LP1719），研究团队配合考古保护性发掘工作，开展了孢粉与大植物遗存分析（pollen and macrofloral analyses）。两处遗址坐落于拉普拉塔河流域（La Plata River drainage），分别代表圣胡安盆地（San Juan Basin）北部的阿卡德文化期（Archaic）与纳瓦霍（Navajo）时期的人类居住遗存。本次在两处遗址中采集的孢粉与大植物遗存，其研究目的为古环境重建与生业模式复原。
