Above-ground plant species cover was recorded for vegetation plots in the sensor network, starting in 2017. Cover was measured annually at peak biomass using a 100 point-intercept method.自2017年起，该传感器网络内的植被样地均开展地上植物物种盖度（Above-ground plant species cover）的记录工作。该盖度指标于每年生物量高峰期，采用100点拦截法（100 point-intercept method）进行年度测定。
