资源简介:
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center baseline Very Long Baseline Interferometry
(VLBI) quarterly solutions provide estimates of baseline lengths between
radio telescopes adjusted using least squares in analysis of group delays
derived during processing all publicly available geodetic VLBI
experiments accumulated since 1980s till present. Baseline lengths are
invariant with respect to a group of rotations and translations, and
therefore, unlike to station positions, are determined uniquely from
observations. Group delay data used in these solutions are available from
the NASA Crustal Dynamics Data Information System.
Results from two solutions are provided: total and residual.
In the total solution the baseline lengths and their uncertainties are
provided without solving for neither station linear velocity, nor for their
non-liner motion. These baseline lengths are a measure of relative motion
of one station with respect to another.
In the residual solution the baseline lengths and their uncertainties are
provided after applying the empirical station motion model derived in the
NASA global geodetic VLBI solution in a form of a sum of station linear
velocity, harmonic site position variations, and non-linear motion in
a form of an expansion over the B-spline basis.
