Roundtable discussion with two staff members of the Rand Corporation: Joan Petersilia, Director of the Criminal Justice Research Program, and Allan Abrahams, statistician. Petersilia and Abrahams discuss arrest data with regard to the civil disturbance, 1992 July 16. PART OF SERIES: After the violence had subsided, the Webster Commission met of a variety of public officials, law enforcement personnel, activists, and community leaders to discuss the rioting, its root causes, and the adequacy of the LAPD's response.
