Sheep herd health and reproductive management associated with lamb weight gain and mortality in sub-Saharan drylands – a case from Ethiopia

The dataset consists of a TSV file consisting of 209 rows and 54 columns and contains the following information: information about the herd and its localisation (type of village, village number, household number), information about the ewe (pseudonymized ID, age, number of lambs in total, number of lambs this litter, body condition score, presence of fleece contamination and presence of clinical signs of disease), information about the lamb (pseudonymized ID, sex, age at first weighing, number of siblings, weight at first weighing and presence of clinical signs of disease), and the weight of the lamb at one, two, three, four and five months of age. The body condition of the ewe is indicated using a five degree scale from 1 (very thin) to 5 (obese). The fleece contamination of the ewe is indicated using a four degree scale from 0 (clean fleece) to 3 (heavily contaminated fleece). The dataset contains information on the same herds as in dataset SND-ID: 2020-185.本数据集为TSV（制表符分隔值，Tab-Separated Values）格式文件，共计209行、54列数据，涵盖以下四类信息：一是畜群及其区位相关信息，包含村落类型、村落编号与住户编号；二是母羊相关信息，包括化名标识、年龄、总产羔数、本胎产羔数、体况评分、羊毛污染状况及临床疾病症状表现；三是羔羊相关信息，涵盖化名标识、性别、首次称重时的年龄、同胞数量、首次称重体重及临床疾病症状表现；四是羔羊在1、2、3、4、5月龄时的体重数据。母羊体况采用5级评分制，1分表示极瘦，5分表示肥胖；母羊羊毛污染程度采用4级评分制，0分代表羊毛洁净，3分代表重度污染。本数据集与数据集SND-ID: 2020-185所涉及的畜群信息完全一致。
