Temperature profile data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the OCEANUS in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 09 November 1982 to 15 November 1982 by US Geological Survey (USGS) with support from the Outer Continental Shelf - Georges Bank (OCS - Georges Bank) project.本数据集的温度廓线数据采集自西北大西洋海域，由OCEANUS号科考船通过BT（Bathythermograph，温深计）与XBT（Expendable Bathythermograph，抛弃式温深计）开展剖面投放作业获取。数据采集时段为1982年11月9日至1982年11月15日，由美国地质调查局（United States Geological Survey, USGS）依托外大陆架——乔治滩（Outer Continental Shelf - Georges Bank, OCS-Georges Bank）项目的支持完成采集。
