Study of LED light source induced changes in bioflocs and intestinal microflora of shrimp, Penaeus vannamei

Our study reveals that light parameters (e.g., light intensity, photoperiod, and spectrum) in a biofloc farming system (BFT System) can exert significant influences on water quality and microbial community dynamics. Therefore, understanding and managing these light parameters are crucial for optimizing the performance and sustainability of BFT systems. The results of this study can provide an experimental basis and data reference for the use of light sources in biofloc culture models.
