Digital Terrain Model (DTM)

<p>Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is a topographic model of the bare Earth. The data files contain the elevation data of the terrain in a digital format which relates to a rectangular grid. Vegetation, buildings and other cultural features are removed digitally - leaving just the underlying terrain.</p>

数字地形模型（Digital Terrain Model，DTM）是一种表征裸露地表的地形模型。此类数据文件以数字格式存储了与矩形网格对应的地形高程数据。通过数字化手段移除植被、建筑物及其他人工地物，仅保留基底裸露地形。
