Hydrology and Nutrients along Algerian coast (1999)

These hydrologic and nutrient data were collected within the framework of the realization of the 'Contamination assessment of the southern Mediterranean sea' project. This study was carried out during two cruises. The first is from 28/09/1999 to 13/10/1999 in the Eastern and central Algerian coast. The second is from 30/10/1999 to 07/11/1999 in the western Algerian coast.

The objective is the characterization of water to know constraints of pollution that they can undergo along the Algerian coast.

In this study there are 41 stations with several levels (2 to 7) of depth in which the data was measured on board. For nutrient analysis, the water was sampled by Niskin bottle and conveyed to the laboratory.
