Azerbaijan Water Resources, Water Use, Water Intensity and SDG Indicators Dataset (2000–2024)

This dataset contains annual observations of water resources, water abstraction, total water use, sectoral water use, water intensity, water losses, water reuse, and SDG 6 indicators for Azerbaijan covering the period 2000–2024. The dataset was compiled from official national statistics and international SDG databases and has undergone a comprehensive formula audit to ensure consistency and accuracy. Major revisions include the standardization of GDP units, recalculation of Water Intensity (TWU/GDP), verification of sectoral water use shares, and validation of Loss Ratio and Reuse Ratio calculations. The workbook includes three sheets: About This Dataset, Master Dataset (values only), and Data Dictionary & Formula Book. The dataset supports research on integrated water resources management, climate adaptation, SDG monitoring, and water–energy nexus assessment in Azerbaijan.
