Transcriptome profiles of a tropical tree species during transition from vegetative to flowering stages.

Sequencing the transcriptome of the tropical tree species allows study of the genes and flowering pathways potentially involved in floral regulation of the species. Identification of such genes and pathways would allow researchers to determine factors (both endogenous, and external environmental factors) that regulate the flowering of the tropical plants.
