Lower nature conservation authorities in Lower Saxony

Overview map for orientation on the areas of competence of the Lower Nature Conservation Authorities (UNB) in Lower Saxony. Some larger independent towns of certain counties have their own Lower Nature Conservation Authority. Large protected area administrations such as the Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve Administration, the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park Administration and the Harz National Park Administration also play the role of UNB in areas of their protected areas.
