Datasets and Supporting Materials for the IPIN 2025 Competition Track 3 (Smartphone-based, off-site)

This dataset was collected for the IPIN 2025 Indoor Positioning Competition – Track 3 ("Smartphone-based"), organized within the 15th International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN 2025) in Tampere, Finland. The Track 3 competition aims to benchmark indoor localization methods based on smartphone sensors and radio signals, such as Wi-Fi, BLE, magnetic field, inertial, pressure, light, sound, and GNSS data. The recordings were performed in a realistic multi-floor university building while participants moved naturally through various environments. This package provides the complete data used in the competition — including training, testing, and scoring trials, as well as the Matlab tools, maps, and evaluation scripts supporting the generation and assessment of the results.
