In this study, we sought to determine if there are transcriptional differences in CD4 and CD8 T cells in individuals with different types of variants in the gene CD101. We FACS-sorted CD4+ or CD8+ T cells from 3 individuals with no variants in CD101, from 3 individuals with a variant in the Ig-like domain of CD101, and from 3 individuals with a variant in the cytoplasmic region of CD101.
