NAME: Soundings Multi-Network Composite Highest Resolution Upper Air Data. Version 1.0

The upper air highest resolution sounding data for the North American Monsoon Experiment (NAME) 2004 Tier 3 domain (5°N to 50°N latitude and 125°W to 75°W longitude) are contained within this dataset. The dataset covers the time period 1 June through 30 September 2004. This NAME 2004 Sounding Composite Highest Resolution Upper-Air Dataset contains 24308 soundings from 112 sites. The PIBALs are not previewable and will generate an error when selected. NOTE: As of 23 March 2010 many of the soundings in this data set have had a correction applied to account for a significant dry bias.
