Regional crown rot management – Merriwa 2016

Crown rot (CR), caused predominantly by the fungus Fusarium pseudograminearum (Fp), remains a major constraint to winter cereal production in the northern grains region. Cereal varieties differ in their resistance to crown rot, which can have a significant effect on their relative yield when the disease is present.This experiment was one of 11 conducted by NSW DPI in 2016 across central/northern NSW extending into southern Qld; to examine how crown rot affects the yield and quality of four barley, three durum and 13 bread wheat varieties.

冠腐病（Crown rot, CR）主要由伪禾谷镰刀菌（Fusarium pseudograminearum, Fp）引发，仍是北部谷物种植区冬谷类作物生产的主要限制因素。不同谷物品种对冠腐病的抗性存在差异，当病害发生时，该抗性差异会对各品种的相对产量产生显著影响。本试验为新南威尔士州初级产业部（NSW DPI）2016年在新南威尔士州中北部并延伸至昆士兰州南部开展的11项试验之一，旨在探究冠腐病对4个大麦（barley）品种、3个硬粒小麦（durum）品种及13个普通小麦（bread wheat）品种的产量与品质的影响。
