资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide and ammonium made by Wim Helder during the Pelagia 109 research cruise on the North-Western Iberian Slope in the North-East Atlantic, as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 15th July 1997 and ended on 6th August 1997 with the spatial coverage of +42N and +43N latitude and +9W and +12W longitude.
The data set consists of:
-17 measurements of the concentrations of carbon (total inorganic)(TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate <0.2um phase) by filtration, acidification and CO2 quantification by indicator photometry; and
-112 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate <0.2um) by filtration and colorimetric autoanalysis.
See below for further details.
