Digitalization of traffic management on two traffic axes in Duisburg (road weather information)

As part of the project "Continuation of transport in the urban area of Duisburg", a concept for traffic and environmental management was implemented in Duisburg. The focus is on Mülheimer Straße and Duisburger Straße in Duisburg-Hamborn. On the basis of a developed measuring point concept, which captures the main triggers or events to which the environmental control should react, various detectors were built. These record the traffic volume (differentiated in vehicle classes), the average speed, the traffic density (calculated as a ratio of traffic volume and cruising speed), travel times on the route sections and air pollutant emissions.作为"杜伊斯堡市区交通延续项目"（Continuation of transport in the urban area of Duisburg）的一部分，杜伊斯堡市实施了一套交通与环境管理方案。项目聚焦于杜伊斯堡-哈姆恩（Duisburg-Hamborn）的米尔海姆大街（Mülheimer Straße）与杜伊斯堡大街（Duisburger Straße）。基于一套研发完成的测点布设方案——该方案可捕捉环境管控需响应的核心触发因素与事件——本次部署了多类检测装置。这些装置可记录按车辆类别区分的交通流量、平均车速、交通密度（以交通流量与巡航速度的比值计算得出）、路段行程时间以及大气污染物排放情况。
