The water depth and temperature data was collected from ship Pacmerchant. The data was collected from August 25, 1987 to January 9, 1988. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was submitted in four cassettes by Robert Decker of National Ocean Service, Seattle. The data has been coverted and is now available on line in C116 file format of NODC.
