A net of Open Linked Data for the Humanities and Arts
Semantic net of Linked Open Data, designed for Humanities and Arts, in SKOS format. The center of VeSNet-HA is a bilingual, polish-english wordnet (plWordNet), whose relations have been converted to SKOS-relations. Intermediate and high level ontologies are conected to them. VeSNet-HA is an extension of the resource, developed within AZON (The Atlas of Open Science Resources), but dedicated primairly to the Humainities and Arts, treating Polish as a centre, but connected, using interlanguage relaitons of plWordNet, to worldwide Linked Open Data. New ones have been added to related resources within the network, such as Wikipedia, DBPedia, subject headword languages (e.g., Library of Congress) and various specialized thesauri: LSST (The European Language Social Science Thesaurus), HASSET (The Humanities and Social Science Electronic Thesaurus) and YSO (General Finnish Ontology), among others.
