Replication code for "A Bayesian Synthetic Control Method via Horseshoe Priors"

Based on the methodological framework proposed by Pang et al. (2022), our code implements a modified version of their approach. The core algorithm is provided in the "function-code" file. Note that our implementation relies on the R package pblasso, which was originally developed by Pang et al. (2022).

To reproduce the simulation results:
Table 2-3 in our paper can be replicated by running the "simulation-code" file.
Other simulation results can be generated by adjusting parameters within the "simulateSA" function as needed.
