Longitudinal associations between disgust sensitivity and state anxiety across all three trimesters of pregnancy

The study assessed longitudinal associations between disgust sensitivity and state anxiety across all three trimesters of pregnancy. At each trimester of pregnancy, the participants (n=261) completed the Disgust Scale-Revised (DS-R), the Pathogen disgust subscale of the Three Domains of Disgust Scale (TDDS), and State Trait Anxiety Inventory. The sample was based on a pregnancy cohort recruited between June 2019 and January 2023 in collaboration with three gynecological clinics in Prague, Czech Republic.
