Investigation of the role of CYLD tumor suppressor in splenic marginal zone lymphoma development

CYLD tumor suppressor was ablated, using CRISPR/Cas9 system, in SL-15 cell line, which was established from a patient with splenic marginal zone lymphoma (SMZL), in the chronic phase of the disease. CYLD KO and control monoclonal populations were established and our findings uncover a novel role of CYLD as a key regulator in SMZL pathogenesis, dissemination and resistance to targeted agents.
