MODIS/Aqua Snow Cover Daily L3 Global 0.05Deg CMG, Version 5

The MODIS/Aqua Snow Cover Daily L3 Global 0.05Deg CMG (MYD10C1) data set contains snow cover and Quality Assessment (QA) data, latitudes and longitudes in compressed Hierarchical Data Format-Earth Observing System (HDF-EOS) format, and corresponding metadata. This data set consists of 7200 columns by 3600 rows of global arrays of snow cover in a 0.05 degree Climate Modeling Grid (CMG). MODIS snow cover data are based on a snow mapping algorithm that employs a Normalized Difference Snow Index (NDSI) and other criteria tests.MODIS/Aqua每日积雪L3级全球0.05度气候建模网格（Climate Modeling Grid，CMG）数据集（MYD10C1）包含积雪数据与质量评估（Quality Assessment，QA）数据、以压缩分层数据格式-地球观测系统（Hierarchical Data Format-Earth Observing System，HDF-EOS）存储的经纬度数据，以及对应的元数据。该数据集由7200列×3600行的0.05度气候建模网格全球积雪阵列构成。MODIS积雪数据基于采用归一化积雪指数（Normalized Difference Snow Index，NDSI）及其他判据测试的积雪制图算法。
