Canadian Gallup Poll, August 2000

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions of the past federal election, health care, and the death penalty. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as job security, police car chases, Jean Chretien, and universities in Canada. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: election; best university in Canada; health care; brain drain; death penalty; job security; Jean Chretien; and political party preference. Basic demographic variables are also included
