Number of Parisian beneficiaries with an APA entitlement. This definition is the same for all departments. This indicator is different from payments. The APA (personalised autonomy allowance) is used to pay in whole or in part: expenses necessary to stay at home (APA at home), i.e. the ‘dependence’ tariff of the medical-social establishment of use (APA in an establishment). It is paid by the services of the department. APA at home shows a decrease until January 2023 and since then seems rather stable (roughly the same figure in April 2021 as today) Institutional APA has caught up with more than half of the decline recorded in 2020 and appears to be relatively stable since January 2023.
