Community Type

SACOG has created a framework for describing the MTP/SCS that is made up of Community Types. Local land use plans (e.g., adopted and proposed general plans, specific plans, master plans, corridor plans, etc.) were categorized into one of five Community Types based on the location of the plans. SACOG uses this Community Types framework to describe the MTP/SCS land use pattern. Community Types 2024 : CENTER & CORRIDOR COMMUNITIES, ESTABLISHED COMMUNITIES, DEVELOPING COMMUNITIES, RURAL RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITIES, NOT IDENTIFIED FOR GROWTH and AGRICULTURAL & NATURAL LANDS
