Democratization of public transportation since 1820

The study deals with the variations of caravan traffic, i.e. the number of departed horses per year in the whole country and in various counties (1855-1906) and in tax charge districts and at single inns (about 1820-1920). Furthermore the variations in sea passenger traffic, i.e. yearly incomes for 66 passenger vessels in domestic traffic during the period of 1860 to 1920. Above this there is information on opening and closing hours per year of Göta Kanal and Trollhätte Kanal and the person kilometers of the railways.本数据集涵盖多类交通流量的变化统计：其一为商队运输流量，包含1855年至1906年间全国及各郡的年度出发马匹数量，以及约1820年至1920年间各征税区域与单个客栈的年度出发马匹数量；其二为海上客运流量，收录了1860年至1920年间66艘国内客运船舶的年度营收数据；除此之外，本数据集还包含约塔运河（Göta Kanal）与特罗尔海特运河（Trollhätte Kanal）的年度开闭时长信息，以及铁路客运的人公里数统计数据。
