Inclusion of digestible carbohydrates in combination with a total plant-based diet is associated with modifications of intestinal microbiota and host metabolism

These 16S sequencing data are from the project to study the impact of a 100% plant-based diet with dietary carbohydrates on the microbiota and metabolism of rainbow trout. The microbiota samples were taken 6h after the last meal, at the midgut level, at the level of digestive contents and mucus. Negative controls were performed with water samples, food samples, and laboratory-grown strains of bacteria.
