Pancreatic islets were isolated from 1 month and 6 months old CCR2-DTR+/- and wild type mice, previously treated with diphtheria toxin to transiently deplete CCR2+ myeloid cells during the first 10 days of life. Overall design: Islet tissue was then processed for scRNA-seq to derive gene expression profiles of islet cells at two time points.
