资源简介:
This dataset provides observations and model simulations of Arctic tropospheric bromine monoxide (BrO), aerosol extinction, and ozone at Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard (78.92°N, 11.93°E), for March–May 2017–2023. Ground-based Multi-Axis Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (MAX-DOAS) data include hourly BrO and aerosol extinction profiles in the 0–3 km range, as well as BrO partial column densities integrated over 0–4 km. Satellite observations from GOME-2B provide hourly tropospheric BrO vertical column densities over the same region. Model outputs from the p-TOMCAT chemical transport model are also included, consisting of hourly BrO partial column densities (0–4 km) and ozone concentrations. This combined dataset enables analysis of the vertical distribution and temporal variability of BrO, its relationship with aerosol extinction, and its role in springtime ozone depletion events. It supports studies of heterogeneous bromine recycling, blowing-snow-driven sea salt aerosol processes, and model–observation comparisons in Arctic atmospheric chemistry.
