TECHNOLOGIES FOR IMPROVING INDEPENDENT LEARNING OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE STUDENTS

This article analyzes the role of modern pedagogical and information technologies in improving the independent learning of English language students. The theoretical foundations of independent learning, learner autonomy, and the opportunities of the digital educational environment are discussed. In addition, the effectiveness of Learning Management Systems (LMS), mobile applications, artificial intelligence technologies, multimedia tools, and online collaborative platforms in the language learning process is examined. The article also identifies challenges encountered in organizing independent learning and suggests possible solutions to overcome them. The findings indicate that modern technologies play a significant role in developing students’ motivation, communicative competence, and self-management skills in English language education.
