This dataset with the __territorial boundaries for statistical purposes of the municipalities of the Canary Islands__, including the municipality of El Pinar, is __basic non-exact mapping__ used for the symbolic representation of geospatial statistics. The information is provided in the geodesic system of geographical coordinates __WGS84__ (World Geodetic System 1984, __SRID:4326__), used by the Canary Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), in several formats and with two generalisations (the one named as generalised in less detail).
