Morella rubra whole-genome variation discovery and genome sequencing of 'Linhaizaodamei'

Equal amount of DNA from 52 red bayberry (Morella rubra) was mixed and subjected to high throughput sequencing. Two sequencing libraries with 500 bp and 10 kbp inserted segment sizes were constructed for the Morella rubra cultivar 'Linhaizaodamei' and sequenced, which were subjected to de Novo assembly.
