This series is petty cash and gratuities cash books for Kamballa.The cash books were used for both petty cash payments and for gratuities payments to the inmates at Kamballa. At the top of each page is the monetary advance and a folio number. The page contains a table which is divided into columns with the following headings: date, advance recoups, particulars (name of inmate for gratuities) and the amount total. Gratuities are signed and approved by the Superintendent.The volumes are arranged in chronological order.

本系列档案为坎巴拉（Kamballa）的零用现金与酬金现金账簿。该账簿兼具两项用途：一是用于零用现金支出，二是向坎巴拉的被收容者支付酬金。每一页顶部均标注有预支金额与folio号（folio number）。账簿页面设有表格，表格按栏划分，栏目标题依次为：日期、预支冲销额、事项说明（酬金支付对应的被收容者姓名）以及总金额。所有酬金支付均需由主管（Superintendent）签字并审批。该系列账簿按时间顺序编排。
