Transcriptomic Analysis of Brain Regions in Parkinson's Disease Mouse Models (PRJCA041742)

This project aims to investigate transcriptomic alterations in the substantia nigra and cerebellum of Parkinson's disease (PD) mouse models induced by MPTP and pre-formed fibrils (PFF). MPTP causes dopaminergic neuron loss, while PFF promotes synuclein aggregation, providing complementary pathological features. RNA sequencing was used to profile gene expression in different brain regions under these conditions. The dataset offers insights into region-specific molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets for PD.
