Site-specific GAPeDNA lists of bony fishes are compared to comprehensive, curated local checklists for the Galapagos and Revillagigedo Archipelagos and Cocos Island. The Galapagos comparison is the total GAPeDNA list vs the total fauna list from Victor et al. (2024). Cocos and the Revillagigedos comparisons involve only Reef Associated fishes, the faunal component for which the most expansive, modern taxonomic and biogeographic knowledge is available. There is no site-specific GAPeDNA list available for Coiba National Park. The three GAPeDNA v1.1.2 (2023) lists were downloaded from https://shiny.cefe.cnrs.fr/GAPeDNA/ in November, 2025.
