Global mesoscale ocean eddy features

A database of ocean eddies identified in daily satellite altimeter data. Each file contains the eddy features identified on that day. Each day has two file one for cyclonic and another for anticyclonic eddies. Each eddy object contains geographical and physical information as well as the grid cells that make up the eddy's body.

本数据集为基于每日卫星高度计数据识别得到的海洋涡旋（ocean eddies）数据库。每个文件存储了当日识别出的全部涡旋特征。每日对应两个文件，分别对应气旋式涡旋（cyclonic eddies）与反气旋式涡旋（anticyclonic eddies）。每个涡旋对象均包含地理与物理属性信息，以及构成该涡旋本体的网格单元。
