Environmental Vision 2018 — Energy Transition Park

Version of Energy Transition Park adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. In the view of the province of Drenthe, large-scale energy systems should be concentrated on designated locations, for example on the Bargermeer industrial parks in Emmen, Europark in Coevorden and near Attero in Wijster. In these areas, the province of Drenthe also sees opportunities to link energy producers and consumers (energy cascade). This could also include linking farms to these sites. The above-mentioned areas are therefore referred to as energy transition parks (ETP) on the vision map 2030.
