In-Service Bridge Monitoring Time-Series Dataset (Raw Signals)
收藏资源简介:
In-Service Bridge Monitoring Time-Series Dataset (Raw Signals) Summary This dataset contains raw time-series measurements collected on in-service bridges under normal traffic. Data are organized by signal type—strain, support force, and acceleration. Within each signal type, different files correspond to different traffic-flow conditions (e.g., traffic intensity and composition), enabling comparative and generalization studies. Signals are provided as unfiltered, non-detrended, non-resampled records (minimal header metadata only). Data Collection & Instrumentation 1) strain Highway bridge: A bidirectional six-lane bridge with separated dual carriageways; a three-span continuous steel box-girder bridge (variable depth only).Sensors: Surface-resistance strain gauges at the midpoint of the side span, mounted at the midpoint of the top plate and on the web.Sampling rate: 200 Hz. Railway bridge: An eight-span continuous steel truss bridge. During acquisition, only the high-speed railway was operational.Sensors: Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) strain gauges installed at the bottom of the lower chords of the three main trusses at midspan.Sampling rate: 50 Hz. 2) support force Bridge: A three-span continuous steel box-girder bridge with variable width and variable depth.Sensors: A wireless smart force-measuring bearing on pier top, acquiring vertical bearing reaction in real time and uploading to a cloud server for storage.(Acquisition/transfer details are summarized in file headers.) 3) acceleration Railway bridge: Vertical accelerometer at midspan, 50 Hz sampling. Highway bridge: Vertical accelerometer at midspan, 100 Hz sampling. Note: To protect site confidentiality, precise coordinates and certain identifiers are anonymized without affecting research usability. File Organization There are no subfolders; the file name itself encodes the category (signal type) and bridge class. The naming pattern is: <SignalType>-<BridgeClass>-<Index>.txt <SignalType> ∈ {Acceleration, Strain, SupportForce} <BridgeClass> typically ∈ {railway, highway} <Index> is a zero-padded running number (e.g., 01, 02, …) Files with the same <SignalType>-<BridgeClass> but different <Index> represent different traffic-flow conditions. Formats & Metadata Text format: first column is time (s) or relative time (s), followed by channel columns; headers include sampling rate, channel names, and units. Units (see file header): Strain: microstrain (με). Support force: reaction force (kN). Acceleration: m/s². Data Quality & Notes Records reflect true operational variability (non-stationarity due to traffic, ambient noise, temperature effects).
