"Information" began as a fortnightly newsletter for the Water Supply and Sewerage Branch on 16 October 1967, to provide a means of communication for all Departmental Officers throughout the State who were concerned with water supply and sewerage works. It provided information on personnel, salaries, conferences, Departmental instructions, works undertaken and technical matters. With the restructuring of Public Works on 11 November 1968, "Information" continued as a newsletter covering the activities of the Civil Engineering Division and Local Government Engineer's Branch. From February 1969 it was published on a monthly basis. Contributing articles related to the wide range of the Department's engineering activities, its history, and technical and economic subjects.(18/1185.8). 1 box (part).
