Biomass of two size fractions of microplankton were analyzed of samples taken during cruise SO283 in April/May 2021by an Apstein Net (20 µm mesh size). The sampling took place in the northern and southern Benguela upwelling system in the context of the project TRAFFIC (Trophic TRAnsfer eFFICiency in the Benguela Current). TRAFFIC aims to enlighten the energy transfer through the food webs of the northern and southern subsystems of the Benguela upwelling system.
本研究对2021年4月至5月SO283科考航次所采集的样本展开分析,采用网孔尺寸为20 μm的Apstein网(Apstein Net),针对两种粒径分级的微型浮游生物(microplankton)的生物量进行了检测。本次采样工作依托TRAFFIC项目(全称:本格拉海流营养级传递效率(Trophic TRAnsfer eFFICiency in the Benguela Current))开展,采样区域覆盖本格拉上升流系统(Benguela upwelling system)的南北两个子系统。TRAFFIC项目旨在阐明本格拉上升流系统南北子系统的食物网能量传递过程。
