Navigation files for seismic reflection data from the P1 profile of the 1996 EW9601 seismic survey

This data set presents navigation files for the P1 Multi-Channel Seismic (MCS) reflection profile from the 1996 EW9601 seismic survey. The files are in comma-separated CSV format and provide information on the spatial coordinates of the Common Depth Points (or Common Mid Points) for the binned geometry of the MCS profile. Two files are provided with header lines that specify the columns, as follows. File EW9601_CDPnav.csv: shot number, CDP number, shot X distance in meters, CDP X distance in meters, shot latitude, and shot longitude. This file provides a link between the associated CDP number and the original shot navigation data. File EW9601_CDPnav_interp.csv: fractional shot number, CDP number, CDP X distance in meters, CDP latitude, and CDP longitude. This file provides the interpolated CDP locations from each shot point along the profile. The data set was re-processed from the original EW9601 experiment and funding for re-processing this data was provided through NSF grant OCE16-54689.
