Legal assistance is provided by the Legal Loket. This first-line legal assistance consists of providing simple advice, without representation, providing information and clarification of questions and referring to relevant authorities and legal aid providers. HJL (The Legal Loket) registers persons who have had contact with the Legal Loket. The introduction of the Diagnosis and Triage model started in July 2011. With this model, the Ministry of Security and Justice wants the Legal Loket to help the client with legal problems at an early stage. In order to demonstrate the efforts made before the Legal Loket redirects a client to a lawyer, the legal staff have to record the most important personal data of all clients since 1 July 2011. This represents a major change in the work, as until 1 July 2011 more than 50 percent of customers remained anonymous when registering for the service. There was also a deeper registration as of 1 July 2011. of the content of the services requested by the Ministry (Annual Report of Legal Loket 2011). This can be for the same problem, but also for problems on another jurisdiction. ### Population All contacts in a given year.
