Monthly number of 5G subscriptions South Korea 2019-2024, by operator

As of March 2024, SK Telecom had approximately 15.9 million 5G subscribers in South Korea. KT had over 9.9 million, and LGU+ around 7.2 million. Very few people relied on MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) for 5G subscriptions, in contrast to the millions who used MVNO subscriptions for 3G and 4G networks. In total, the country had around 33 million 5G subscribers recorded during that time.
