Munc13/SNAP25 Analysis Dataset

This dataset contains 101 room-temperature tomograms of Schaffer collateral synapses. They were published in [1] and used for analysis in [2]. The data contains tomograms of Munc13 / SNAP-25 deficient synapses and corresponding control conditions.

The two folders, 'Munc13DKO' and 'SNAP25' contain the tomograms and segmentations for the correspoding conditions. Each folder contains hdf5 file, each with the internal datasets:- raw: the tomogram data.- vesicles: the automatic vesicle segmentation.- az: the active zone segmentation, based on automatic segmentation that was manually corrected- mask: the mask for the presynaptic terminal, based on the automatic compartment segmentation and filtered by the compartment with most vesicles.

The folder 'manual_annotations' contains manual annotations from IMOD for the same structures for a subset of 20 tomograms.
