Motor unit adaptations in hamstring muscles publication dataset

This dataset provides a repository of high-density electromyography (HD-EMG) data used to analyze motor unit adaptations in the hamstring muscles following a 9-week eccentric training intervention. The data is organized by participant across three key timepoints: Pre-training, after 3 weeks of training, and Post-training. Within each timepoint, folders are divided into Raw files (.obt+) and Cleaned files (.mat), with the latter containing decomposed and processed motor unit signals. To facilitate statistical modeling, a centralized Analysed_data directory provides aggregated CSV files featuring motor unit properties for both matched (e.g., MU.0-3, MU.0-10) and unmatched motor units, alongside Root Mean Square (RMS) amplitudes and torque measurements. These data provide detailed insights into the motor unit adaptations of hamstring muscles to eccentric training.
